Lambsmead Nurseries encourage staff, parents and children to use public transport wherever possible. Our business is about the future and we would like to be proactive in making that future safer and cleaner for your children. We try to achieve this on two levels: Firstly, by providing staff and parents with all the necessary information and facilities to enable using safer, less polluting modes of transport including:
Secondly, by helping the children to learn about road safety and ‘greener’ transport as part of our curriculum. We also encourage, by positive reinforcement using reward stickers, children to understand and use ‘greener’ forms of transport.
