We are very proud of our
staff. We have very stringent recruitment procedures including a long and
rigorous probation period. We also actively promote our staff improving
their skills through an ‘open door’ policy towards further training. We aim
to maintain a good mix of ages and experience amongst our staff to enrich
your child’s experience with us.
Hello, my name is Sarah and I am delighted to be a part of the team here at
Tangley Park.
We aim to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment whilst recognising each child’s individual needs. We also provide a wide range of opportunities for your child to learn through play and experimentation.
From a young age I knew I would follow a career in childcare. Children have a way of making everyday different, fun and full of excitement and enthusiasm. A job you could never tire of.
I have been NNEB trained for over 10 years. During that time I have worked in a wide range of childcare settings including schools, nurseries and under 5 centres. Since qualifying I dedicated over seven years to one nursery. I have also gained certificates in Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Managing Children’s Behaviour, Curriculum Planning, First Aid and Language and Literacy Skills for the Under Fives.
I am also a parent myself, thus giving me experience and knowledge in all aspects of childcare from curriculum based learning to sleepless nights due to teething!
Childhood is such a short, precious time of one’s life and it should be full of fun, laughter and opportunity.
